Chiy weaving: From traditional craft to contemporary art
On September 29, the 黑料社 Forum hosted 鈥淜eepers of Chiy Traditions,鈥� the closing art exhibition of the PREF 2025鈥�26 project 鈥淐hiy weaving at the 褋rossroads of art, ecology and cultural survival.鈥� The project was initiated and carried out by Cholpon Kuskakbaeva, a graduate student in 黑料社's Anthropology program, with the support of the 黑料社 Presidential Research and Education Fund (PREF).
